Peanut Butter Jelly TIME!

Well...  Apparently it's National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day....

When I tell you I had no idea, I mean I had NO idea.
Which I think is hilarious due to the fact that my post workout smoothie/breakfast was a PBJ inspired concoction!

I have a confession to make before I delve into this delicious recipe... I have actually never eaten a PBJ sandwich before.

Ever.
(In Squints from The Sandlot's Voice)

 I know what you're thinking:
 1. "What kind of terrible childhood did you have?"
 2. "WHAT DID YOU EAT?!"

I have no idea why, but my family has never been the PBJ kind of family. We stuck to turkey and cheese and ham and cheese sandwiches, that was about it!

Regardless.

Just because I was deprived of this goodness as a child, doesn't mean I can't make up for it in the form of a smoothie.
Am I right?

Ingredients:
1 Cup frozen Berry Medley
1 TSP Coconut Oil
1 TBSP PB2
1 Banana
1 Cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
1 TSP Chia Seeds

Directions:
Throw it all into the blender and blend until smooth and creamy!
*To make it extra creamy use a frozen banana!

This recipe was made on a total whim. And I am so glad I picked today of all days to make this!

Enjoy the rest of your PBJ day!
I know I will!
